Spain
Since the spread of the COVID-19 we have been forced to change our recruitment strategy, all of it has been carried out through social networks and the FOLM website (www.folmweb.com), as well as by mail and telephone. On the other hand, with the aim of obtaining new participants, we have been in contact with various organizations and institutions.
After almost two months without face-to-face meetings with interested people, we are strictly studying the protocol and measures established by the Ministry of Health and drawing up a security procedure in order to ensure that in Cantabria (Spain) the recruitment, the expeditions and the coaching sessions are carried out with all guarantees and in compliance with all requirements, thus guaranteeing everybody’s security and allowing you to enjoy this extraordinary experience without any worries.
Since we will soon be resuming the project, we encourage you to keep fit and do physical activity progressively. After so many days confined at home, we encourage you to join the FOLM Project, it will allow you to be in contact with nature in the emblematic surroundings of the Picos de Europa Mountains.

Poland
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were forced to change our recruitment strategies. In Poland, the situation changes from week to week. The economy opens up in certain stages. We are initially planning the first exit at the end of June. We have about 20 people on the list who are willing to go on a spring-summer trip to the forest. We keep in touch with them by phone, once a week we check the level of motivation and willingness. It can be variable, of course. Before the quarantine is announced, you will receive a list of willing users from several institutions with supported colleagues. We plan to contact them after May the 20th - when open offices are available.
We also sent an inquiry to the Ministry of Health on how we can protect against coronavirus available before going into the forest. We are waiting for recommendations on emergency measures. Meanwhile, we maintain contact with the trainers, former participants and those interested in the open social media group - Time for the Forest.
We have two webinars with trainers behind us, on which they talked about how best to use the skills acquired in the FOLM project and how to survive this difficult time during quarantine.
